I have concealed mine by realizing it is a bad gun from a company that couldn't find customer service in the dictionary. This brand new gun is worthless and concealed at the back of the top shelf in my gun locker where it is unlikely to ever see the light of day. Stay away from this gun, the manufacturer Standard Mfg and their retail dealer Summit Guns, all three are garbage.

I was going to guess Standard Manufacturing until I saw who uploaded the video. No machining marks, very nice apparently real color case hardening. I’d love to have a pair, but maybe nickel.

To all the wanna-be AR builders at home that have built a few AR’s and think they are experts: These dudes in final assembly can literally say they have built thousands. If one of these guys assembles 50 a day that’s over a quarter million AR’s they would have built in a 20 year career.

Trade off. Shorter one clears the holster faster, longer one launches lead faster and groups it tighter.

Gaying it up with the music

This gun literally fell apart within the first 20 rounds at the range. The trigger mechanism is very difficult to deal with, binds up and won't fire at all. Very undependable. Then the pin mechanism/axle that the cylinder rotates on failed and all of the internal parts (springs, retainer, release mechanism just fell out on the floor. Each an every spent shell got jammed up in the cylinders and had to be rammed out with the rod/axle that the cylinder spins on. No sights and very inaccurate at any distance over 5 or 6 yards. In my opinion very dangerous to carry even in the closed position in your pocket since it opened up twice by itself in my pocket while loaded. I don't need a .22 calibre vasectomy. The dealer acted like it's either my fault or all in my head. When I get stuck with an unreliable gun, I bust them up with a 10lb sledge hammer and toss them in different TRASH CANS so that nobody else can get hurt by them,. That's where this is going.

I put a negative review on their website and was acknowledged via email that they received my post. But they never uploaded or posted on their website. Thus Standard Manufacturing has no transparency by not showing negative reviews to allow customers to make informed decisions. This tells me that they are only interested in sales and do not stand by their products-hence this company can’t be trusted. Reviews can help make a product better, but negative reviews are not posted. 2. The screw holding the spring loaded cylinder rod comes loose. Had a similar problem on the first pistol they sold me. The screw holding the polymer grip to the frame kept backing out when deploying the switch. 3. The hammer does not lock into the cylinder’s safety notch thus the cylinder can accidentally rotate locking a round under the hammer and making it unsafe. 4. Bought the Gen3 came with the optional laughably loose cylinder. When I contacted the dealer who is also the manufacturer, I was told to ship it back for repair. Shipping fees both ways on this piece of junk are not something I'm willing to pay. The thing is garbage, Standard Mfg and their sister company Summit-Guns are a problem. Avoid this gun and these Companies.

Please consider a Bomar style adjustable sight as an option on your 1911s. They're tough, they don't break and in a world where we can't know what brand of ammunition we will be using from one week to the next, they are a fine idea.
